When the long-awaited feature film version of Stephen King’s It was released last month (September), horror movie fans couldn’t wait to see what the new Pennywise had in store.
As fans had hoped, the movie didn’t disappoint and it was full of terrifying and downright disturbing scenes. After all, a movie about a clown who preys on children’s fears and then eats them is pretty disturbing itself.
In fact, some of the movie’s scenes were so disturbing that they had to be cut from the final release. According to Bill Skarsgard (Pennywise) one of the deleted scenes involves a flashback to the 1600s and explains where Pennywise came from.
But what could possibly have been so disturbing about a scene showing Pennywise’s origin? Well, the details of the scene have finally been released, and it’s worse than anyone could have imagined.
